A free Monthly Community Mindfulness Event at DCMC
Join Us!
We are excited to announce a new offering from the Dallas Center for Mindfulness and Compassion: Our Community mindfulness events, held monthly and free of charge.
These gatherings are open to everyone—whether you are starting your mindfulness practice or have an established meditation practice. Our intention is simple: to create a welcoming space for people to come together, slow down, and reconnect through shared practice.
In a busy world, taking a moment to pause—together—can be powerful. Join us for a free community mindfulness meditation event, where neighbors, friends, and families come together to breathe, reflect, and simply be.
Step away from the stress of daily life and discover the power of stillness. Wherever you are on your meditation and mindfulness journey, this welcoming event offers a chance to reconnect—with yourself and with others.
What to Expect
Each event will include:
- A short teaching or presentation from a DCMC teacher
- Guided meditation and grounding practice
- Time for conversation, connection, and fellowship
- Practical tips for reducing stress and increasing clarity
- A chance to slow down and simply be
- Friendly community connection and conversation
Whether you're a seasoned meditator or just curious, you're warmly welcome.
We will mostly sit on chairs for these practices. Do bring a cushion or a mat if you prefer to sit on the floor.
No experience needed—just an open heart.
Come and
- Share a peaceful space with others from your community
- Experience a guided meditation and quiet reflection
- Enjoy a moment of rest, free from judgment or pressure
- Meet like-hearted people in a welcoming, inclusive setting
- Reconnect with what matters—together
Come as you are. All you need to bring is yourself.
Let’s build a calmer, kinder community—one breath at a time.
Questions? Feel free to contact us at info@dallascmc.org. We look forward to practicing with you.
Let’s gather, breathe, and create a moment of peace together.
