8 Week Online Mindful Self Compassion Course
A single act of compassion can change a person’s life forever.
And while many can admit that compassion is a good idea, feel it’s impossible for them personally. Why? So many are very self critical. We believe that compassion lives in everyone and, where seemingly absent, it just needs awakening.
And yet, awakening may seem like an impossible task for many people around this catered globe, for if it is true that all humanity suffers, it is also true that not all humanity suffers in the same way. For some of us, it is just too hard to be mindful and compassionate. It is just a matter of plain survival.
How does it work and what to expect
This course is designed to help you awaken compassion for yourself and that, in so doing, you can live a fuller, more meaningful life for yourself and others.
We are committed to stay close to our and your hearts in a simple and humble way so that each and everyone of us/you can feel seen, heard and supported along this beautiful and empowering journey.
The MSC Curriculum is designed to move participants from a conceptual understanding of mindfulness and self-compassion to a felt sense of those concepts, and to provide tools for evoking mindfulness and self-compassion in daily life and making this evocation a habit.
The sessions (8 in total) have been carefully sequenced to build upon one another. Each session includes brief didactic topics, followed by exercises that give participants a visceral sense of the subject, and then by inquiry-based exploration of the participants' direct experience.
Participants are encouraged to be experimental in choosing and adapting the practices to their own needs, and to become their own best teachers, scientists working in the laboratory of their own experience.
